AN ALL dancing, all singing and acting gang of Hampshire students will be welcoming their parents to the spirit of the ’60s.
More than 80 pupils from Hounsdown School performed the musical Hairspray at opening night yesterday and they have two more sold out shows to come.
The performers have been singing hits like Good Morning Baltimore, Welcome to the ’60s and You Can’t Stop the Beat and the audience erupted with applause as their months of rehearsals paid off.
They will be donning the flared trousers, bell-shaped skirts and, of course, plenty of hairspray to keep the people of Hampshire happy with this Broadway musical, which ends on Thursday, October 23.
