Firefighters tackle field blaze
FIREFIGHTERS spent four hours tackling a hay and manure blaze.
They were called to a field near Oakmore Gate, off Winchester Road, Fair Oak, and used jets and compressed air foam jets.
One fire engine and a Land Rover from Eastleigh attended the call-out at 6.30pm on Monday.
No one was injured. The cause was thought to be accidental.
