POLICE are hunting two men who attacked a man for his mobile phone, leaving him with head injuries.
The 21-year-old was stood next to his blue VW Passast in Freemantle Common Road, in Merryoak, when he was pounced on from behind by two strangers, who stole his mobile, a black mist Samsung Galaxy S4 mobile.
The victim suffered injuries to his head and face but fortunately they were not life-threatening.
The attackers are described as being approximately 6ft tall. One was wearing a light blue Nike hooded top and the second was wearing a dark blue hooded top.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the attack, which happened between 7.30pm and 7.45pm on Wednesday, to come forward.
