A HAMPSHIRE man has been charged with a terrorism offence as part of a major investigation across the south.
Tuhin Shanesha, 26, from Hudson Road, Southsea, was last night charged under Section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006.
He was arrested along with three other people after warrants were executed across Hampshire and London by officers from the South East Counter Terrorism Unit earlier this month.
A 23-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman are still in police custody.
A 29-year-old woman from Greenwich, south-east London, was released without charge.
Mr Shanesha has been remanded in custody to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court later.
