THEY are the least likely animals you would expect to see stretching their legs in the sunshine on a Hampshire beach.
But camels have today been lapping up the seaside air, having made an appearance on Weston Shore in Southampton as part of an all-star Bollywood film set this weekend.
After visiting Ocean Village earlier in the week, Bollywood film star Arshad Wasi was back to film "Welcome to Karachi".
And more than 100 extras, a donkey, sniffer dogs and a bus were on the shore as well trying to recreate a beach which is based in the Pakistani city, Karachi.
Stunt doubles were working with Arshad and the camels to tell the story of a group of people who, after attending a boat party, find themselves washed up on shore and stranded, struggling to find their way home.
A spokesperson on set said: βIt's an amazing set with lots of colours and sounds, we are really trying to create a small piece of Karachi in Southampton and have been amazed by the Asian community here who have come out to support us.β
