Plans for a £7m leisure centre designed to help wellbeing in Hampshire will go on public display.
The complex at Barnes Lane, Sarisbury Green, will feature a swimming pool and a gym, as well as an exercise room and a dance studio.
Balfour Beatty, which built the aquatic centre for London 2012, will design the centre, due to open in 2016.
Fareham Borough councillor Connie Hockley, executive member for leisure and community, said: “Our research shows good leisure facilities help maintain people’s health and wellbeing – that’s why we are committed to investing in them.
“These are exciting plans which will see not only a new leisure centre and pool, but also much-needed community facilities and enhanced open space.
“We want to make sure the final designs meet everyone’s needs so I’d encourage everyone to come along to one of the sessions and have your say.”
Residents can view the plans from 1pm to 8.30pm tomorrow at Victory Hall, Warsash Road and Thursday at Brookfield Community School, and from 7pm until 8.30pm on November 7 at Sarisbury Green Community centre.
