Man arrested after blaze in Southampton
A MAN is being quizzed by police in connection with a fire at a Southampton home.
The blaze broke out at a property in Rockall Close in Lordshill at 2.30pm today.
A 60-year-old man living there had to be rescued from the burning property by firefighters.
He was taken to Southampton General Hospital by ambulance with what are thought to be non life threatening injuries.
Hampshire Constabularly say a man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
A crew of 14 firefighters from St Mary's and Redbridge stations attended the blaze.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
