A HAMPSHIRE MP has paid a visit to a new care home.
Mike Thornton, representing Eastleigh, met residents and staff at Sunnybank House in Fair Oak.
He had tea and cakes, got a tour of the facilities and even a piano recital by one of the first residents.
This follows a memorable official opening event when television presenter and Daily Echo columnist Fred Dinenage met and engaged in banter with residents and guests at the home, run by Hartford Care, earlier this month.
