POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Bishop’s Waltham after a tin of Celebrations were taken.
CCTV footage has been released of the theft at a Bishop’s Waltham supermarket after four people forced their entry and stole the confectionery.
The burglary took place on Tuesday, October 14, at around 12.55am at the Budgens store in Winchester Road.
Thieves tried to gain entry to the cigarette kiosk before trying the spirits cabinet. They made off with a quantity of bottles as well as the chocolates.
PC Jonathan Earnshaw, said: “I am keen to speak to anyone who has any information about this incident.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Earnshaw at Bishop’s Waltham police station by calling 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where information can be left anonymously.
