THEY had all been dumped and left to die.
These seven bright-eyed fluffy kittens were clinging on to life when they were found by a dog walker on the edge of Testwood Lakes.
Their only protection from the severe winds as the tail end of Hurricane Gonzalo hit the south coast was a cardboard box.
But now things have changed for the better as the ‘Mognificent Seven’ have each found a new home after appearing in the Daily Echo yesterday.
Since they were rescued, the youngsters have been at the Blue Cross rehoming centre in West End, where they’ve been fed, checked by a vet and received a clean bill of health and lots of TLC, ready to leave for their new homes.
The youngsters were named by volunteers at the centre after the characters of the famous western film
The Magnificant Seven, altering names slightly for the three females, due to their fighting spirit.
Now, the first of the nine-week-old kittens will leave on Sunday, after having their first vaccinations.
