A BUSY Southampton road has reopened following a collision between a car and motorbike.
Long delays were reported around the Millbrook flyover after the accident at around 2.15pm.
The motorcyclist who was travelling on a Triumph motorbike is understood to have collided with a silver Volkswagen.
According to the emergency services the motorcyclist is believed to have suffered injuries which are not thought to be life threatening.
The motorcyclist aged in their 50s was taken to hospital by paramedics from South Central Ambulance with suspected arm injuries.
Emergency services wereon the scene of the accident on the westbound carriageway and one lane was closed whilst recovery took place.
The road was reopened in time for this evening's rush hour.
