RAIL COMMUTERS are facing more travel headaches with delays on rail services in Hampshire tonight.
Passengers on trains between Southampton Central and Brockenhurst have been warned to expect “delays, alterations and cancellations” after signal failures outside Totton.
Engineers were on the scene to mend the fault, which they did shortly after 6pm.
Speaking on Twitter a spokesman for South West Trains said: “Very sorry for the recent delays, infrastructure improvements will alleviate this (which we're doing).”
Despite the signals being fixed, the train firm said it expected delays throughout the evening until it "recovered the service".
