JOSIE Jefferies celebrated her third Find the Ball success in the past two decades after scooping the nearest miss prize.

The 53-year-old has been taking part in the competition since the mid 1990s, and last won a prize three years ago.

After winning the £1,000 prize, Mrs Jefferies, from Hedge End, said: “I’m very pleased, and also a bit shocked that I’ve won something.

“Christmas is coming up, so it might go towards something for my two grandchildren.”
