PUMPKIN carving has been taken to a whole new level by one Hampshire dad who latest masterpiece was inspired by his daughter's love of One Direction.
Harry Styles
It took just two hours for James McHugh to fashion the face of heart-throb Harry Styles out of the Halloween squash - much to his seven-year-old daughter Chloe's delight.
Harry was not the first famous face James had attempted to recreate in pumpkin form as previous years has seen him crave out star wars villain Darth Vader, Tigger and Hello Kitty.
As a self confessed fan of the US drama series Breaking Bad, James also indulged his own passion by creating character Heisenberg out of a pumpkin alongside a VW camper van this year.
Darth Vader
James, 33, a crane operator from old Redbridge, Southampton, said: “It all started about three years ago when my daughter wanted Hello Kitty craved which wasn't very scary but it came out well.
“Since then I have been doing lots of different character. Darth Vader was the most difficult but it came out well. This year the request was Harry Styles which people seem to recognise, I just hope I don't have to do all the band!”
