CYCLISTS in Eastleigh are being urged to be on their guard after more than £3,000 worth of bikes were stolen.
Thieves broke into a communal bike shed at William Panter Court and stole four bikes worth a total of £3,300.
The bikes stolen were a black and white Scott 600 mountain bike, a black and silver Specialized Cross trail bike, a red and white Scott mountain bike and a custom built purple and white bike.
Police are trying to trace the bikes that were discovered stolen on Wednesday morning, and are urging anyone who may have been offered one for sale to report it to police.
