IT WAS fright night in the ballroom last night but Strictly head judge praised Hampshire's Scott Mills for performing his best dance yet.
Len Goodman said that the Radio 1 DJ's foxtrot to the Addams Family theme tune was “fun” and “interesting” adding “probably Scott's best”.
But sadly Scott, who grew up in Eastleigh, still found himself close to the bottom of the leaderboard, just one point above Judy Murray and her dance partner Anton Du Beke, who had the lowest score of the Halloween themed night.
Taking to the floor as Uncle Fester, Darcey Bussell commended Scott for his acting and characterisation, saying it was “terrific”.
However, Bruno Tonioli was not so positive quipping “if the show was called Strictly No Dancing, you would be a sure-fire winner”.
Scott and his professional dance partner Joanne Clifton have been the bookies favourite to be eliminated this week.
Tune in to BBC1 tonight at 7.20pm to see if he has once again avoided the dreaded dance off.
