THE SKIES of Hampshire were lit up this weekend as fireworks screamed into the air for a colourful extravaganza.
Nearly 10,000 people headed to Beaulieu Motor Museum to watch fireworks explode to music including Vertigo by U2 and Livin' On A Prayer by Bon Jovi.
The venue had been filled with nostalgic fairground rides and sideshows ahead of the 30 minute display, including a big wheel, a coconut shy and a strength tester.
Both children and adults were encouraged to dress up and take part in a fancy dress competition.
And music lovers danced the night away as Rolling Stones tribute act, Like a Rolling Stone, took to the stage.

Organisers confirmed that numbers for Saturday's display were up by 20 per cent on last year.
Before the evening event Palace House and Gardens, Beaulieu Abbey and the motor museum opened their doors, allowing crowds to explore the attractions while they were there.
Thousands of people enjoyed the fireworks
