A UNIQUE concert to commemorate the First World War will be held at a Hampshire naval base.
The event at HMS Collingwood has been organised to remember service personnel lost during the last century, and will feature a performance from the Collingwood Volunteer Band and Portsmouth Military Wives Choir.
Those attending will have the chance to enjoy refreshments and buy raffle tickets, while money will be raised for the Royal British Legion, Royal Naval Association, Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity, along with the Royal Air Force and Jon Egging’s Trust.
The concert will be held on November 14 at 7.30pm and tickets can be bought by calling 01329 332237 or 07486 091771, or emailing wewillrememberconcert@yahoo.com. They cost £12.50 for adults and £10 for concessions.
