A HAMPSHIRE entertainer is putting on a night of music and dancing to raise awareness for an incurable eye condition.

Hoburne Holidays singer Claire Wilson, 22, has teamed up with her uncle Graham Wilson, 62, and her dad Richard Wilson, 51, to put on a show for International Nystagmus Awareness Day, Wobbly Wednesday.

The day is set to raise awareness for the condition affecting one in 1,000 people, giving them continuous, uncontrolled eye movements and reduced vision.

There will be a mixture of blues, rock ’n’ roll and musical theatre songs at the free event from 7.30pm on Wednesday at the Blue Keys Hotel in Northlands Road, Southampton.

Donations will be collected to support the Nystagmus Network and help it continue funding research and providing advice.

The performers will join hundreds of people across the world supporting the charity by holding events.
