One of the world’s most famous brands has given a boost to a Hampshire community by helping to clean up a national park.
Volunteers, from McDonald’s restaurant in Picket Post teamed up with New Forest District Council for a major litter pick.
A team armed with litter picks covered a four-mile stretch of the Forest from Lyndhurst to Burley, ending up back at the restaurant.
The aim was to encourage members of the local community to take responsibility for keeping their neighbourhood tidy and take pride in the local environment.
It was part of the Keep Britain Tidy anti-litter campaign Love Where You Live, which aims to drastically reduce litter across England by 2020.
