A GOLF club will be “dramatically” improved after significant funding from a Hampshire business.
Skylark Golf and Country club in Whiteley is set to introduce new green keepers and buy machinery needed to spruce up the course.
This will include a huge drainage programme, the introduction of different pathways and plans to plant more than 450 new trees.
Skylark managing director Dan Richards said:: “The feedback from the golfers has already been really quite humbling but we've also got big plans for our gym and pool, the premises and parking facilities, and our website.”
The work is possible thanks to funding from Hampshire-based Just Develop It, and chief executive Chris Phillips said: “When Dan came to us for further investment in improvements, I was not hesitant in the slightest.”
