A SPECIAL Remembrance Day service is to be held at St Mary’s Church, Twyford, on Sunday to support the Royal British Legion and remember men from the village killed during the First World War.
A number of items, in addition to poppies, are being sold outside the village shop until the end of this week to mark the centenary. There is a minimum donation of £2 for a dated enamel pin, £1.50 for a wooden cross and £5 for a car poppy.
