ECO AWARD: A Red Funnel ferry
CROSS-SOLENT ferry operator Red Funnel is in the running for a top green award.
The car ferry and passenger sailing operator which runs regular services between Southampton and the Isle of Wight has been nominated for an environmental gong in the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce Businesses Awards for Excellence 2014.
Red Funnel has been nominated for the Eco Business Award recognising businesses efforts in slashing their carbon footprints.
The awards will be handed out on November 21 at Cowes Yacht Haven.
