THEY could be the Daily Echo reporters of the future.
Student journalists gathered in Southampton for the Student Publication Association south-west conference.
It was hosted by the University of Southampton and organised by members of Wessex Scene, the university's student newspaper.
Speakers included Daily Echo health reporter Joe Curtis, who was on hand to answer questions about how to find stories, fine-tune job applications and develop skills for 21st Century journalism.
