A fire engine outside the Vue Cinema in Eastleigh
Filmgoers were twice forced to leave the building as a precaution after extractor fans pulled in smoke from outside the building.
A Vue spokesman said: "We had a smoke detector that was set off from an outside source, basically fireworks around the building, so we took all precautions."
Customers had to leave the building at 8.40pm and again at 9.30pm.
