HE is a war hero and novelist, and will be visiting Hampshire for a book signing later this month.
Richard Adams, author of The Girl in a Swing and The Plague Dogs, will be signing copies of award-winning novels Watership Down and Shardik on Saturday, November 15.
The 94-year-old studied modern history at university before serving in the British Army during World War Two.
He will be at Waterstone's in The Brooks Centre, in Winchester, from 3.30pm-4.30pm. Only books bought on the day will be signed.
