STAFF were evacuated from a workshop after a fire started in an acid bath.
Specially trained firefighters were called to the workshop at Brockbridge in Droxford after the blaze broke out within a workshop just after 11.45am today.
More than 20 fire fighters tackled the fire that was being treated as a Hazardous Materials incident.
Due to its rural location there is no risk to the wider public as a result of the chemicals involved, said Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service.
A spokesman for the service said the acid bath was being used in the workshop as part of a manufacturing process, but the cause of the fire is not yet known.
Firefighters are still at the scene.
