ROCK legend Sting thrilled cruise passengers by performing songs from his stage show aboard the Queen Mary 2.
The former Police frontman, and writer of hits such as Be Still My Beating Heart and Englishman In New York, took to the stage to perform songs from his Broadway musical The Last Ship.
The inspiration for the show came from the Swan Hunter shipyard in Wallsend - the town where he grew up - and where 15 of Cunard's ships were built over the years.
