A MAN has exposed himself to a mother walking with her one-year-old child.

The incident happened as the 41-year-old victim was walking on Shamblehurst Lane, in Hedge End, in the direction of the Tesco Express store with her child who was in a buggy.

She noticed a man walking towards her indecently exposing himself - he did not say anything as they passed and did not attempt to stop her.

But she was left shocked and distressed.

He is described as white, in his late 20s to early 30s, 6ft tall, of medium build, with short blonde hair and wearing a green short sleeved polo shirt and blue jeans.

Police said this was an unusual incident in such a safe neighbourhood.

Witnesses to the incident, on Tuesday at 9am, are asked to call PC Mark Connor at Eastleigh police station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
