ONE PERSON has been seriously injured after a multi-car pile-up on a main road in Southampton this morning.
The four-vehicle collision happened at 11am in West End Road, Bitterne just outside Mersham Gardens.
2. Caught in the act - couple steal Poppy collection tin
POLICE are hunting two thieves caught on camera stealing a Poppy Appeal collection tin from a Hampshire store.
Officers have released the images from CCTV footage which clearly shows a man and a woman stealing the charity tin from the front counter of the Southern Co-op store, in Hambledon Road, Denmead.

AN angry father wants to know why his son was forced to lie in agony for 90 minutes waiting for an ambulance after suffering a horrifying injury.
Goalkeeper Matt Jones, 15, was left in excruciating pain with a double leg break when he collided with another player during a Sunday morning football match.
4. Three donkeys killed in crash in New Forest
Police in the New Forest are hunting a hit-and-run driver after an accident in which three donkeys were killed.
Officers are trying to trace a tall-sided white van believed to have been involved in the incident, which occurred at Roger Penny Way in Brook.
