The heart-warming moment was captured on camera and now his dad, Mike, who donned the superhero costume, is being hailed “SpiderDad” by the thousands of people who have viewed it across the world.
His family were determined to do something special for the Spiderman-mad five-year-old who was diagnosed with a brain tumour last year.
The youngster was taken to Southampton General Hospital after falling and bumping his head and an MRI scan revealed he had a grade four brain stem tumour.
