TWO new eateries have been signed up to be part of Southampton’s £70m new leisure complex.
Popular chicken restaurant Nando’s and American burger brand Five Guys are the latest names to be part of Watermark WestQuay.
They follow Wahaca, Byron and Zizzi in being added to the lineup of restaurants for the complex next to the WestQuay Shopping Centre.
Five Guys will serve its trademark hand-crafted burgers and fries at its 368m2 unit at the site, its first in Hampshire.
And Nandos will add to its WestQuay outlet with another, 318m2 unit next to Five Guys.
Sarah Fox, head of restaurants and leisure at developer Hammerson, said: “We remain focused on attracting new and exciting restaurants to WestQuay Watermark so that we are able to meet the demands of today’s discerning shoppers for a variety of high quality dining options.”
Work has begun and the development, which will also feature a luxury cinema and bars, will open next autumn.
