A HAMPSHIRE MP has been named as a minister in David Cameron’s reshuffle.
Caroline Dinenage, who was elected as Gosport MP for the second time on Thursday, has become Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the Ministry of Justice.
She has also been named Minister of Equalities at the Department for Education by the Prime Minister.
She has had better luck in the reshuffle than fellow Hampshire Tory Desmond Swayne, after the New Forest West MP and former Minister at the Department for International Development returned to his office yesterday to find he had been locked out with his belongings in boxes.
As reported by the Daily Echo, he was later replaced by Grant Shapps.
