A MAN was recovering in hospital today after being stabbed in the leg on a Hampshire road.
Paramedics had found the man after responding to a call in Fawcett Road, Portsmouth. Police believe the injuries followed an incident in nearby Palmerston Road.
This morning an area of Campbell Road was cordoned off as a thorough seach of the area got underway.The man is currently in the Queen Alexandra Hospital where his condition is described as stable.
Detectives are hunting four suspects following the stabbing.
