AN investigation has been launched into a blaze which broke out at a Hampshire college early today.
Firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to the sports hall at St Vincents College in Gosport but there was extensive damage to the toilets. They were called to the scene just after midnight.
It is understood that the fire had broken out in one of the basins where rubbish and clothing had been piled up.
About dozen firefighters wore breathing sets as they tackled the fire in the heavily smoke logged building. They were on the scene for about a hour and a police investigation has been launched.
