THE DAILY Echo's recruitment advertising team has been highly commended in a prestigious national competition.
The team was singled out for praise from more than 200 rivals at newspapers across the country in the Newsquest Media Group Advertising Awards.
Our Jobs Today supplement, which appears every Thursday and Saturday in the Daily Echo, was in the top two in the category of Best Recruitment Supplement.
It's the latest in a string of awards for the team which last year was named among the best in the country.
In addition to the 500 positions advertised in every Jobs Today supplement, the sales team are able to offer a range of on-line and in-paper opportunities to help employers recruit the perfect candidate.
On line opportunities include CV Match which includes a database of jobseekers whose skills can be matched to specific vacancies, as well as the Daily Echo website, www.dailyecho.co.uk/ jobs, which has a huge selection of vacancies on offer as well as a range of advertising opportunities for employers.
Recruitment team manager Rachel Coward said: "It's excellent to have done so well, it's a tough competition with a high standard of entries every year and we're happy to have maintained our proud record of success.
"Recruitment is a fast moving industry and we're not complacent. We are continually looking for ways to improve the service we offer and we would welcome comments from advertisers and job seekers alike."
If you have a job vacancy and need to find the right candidate call the recruitment team on 023 8042 4960 or e-mail recruitment@dailyecho.co.uk for the full range of advertising opportunities we offer.
