A SPECIAL event is being held to celebrate the success of the BBC Daisy Appeal.
Radio Solent presenter Julian Clegg will host the Daisy Dinner Dance at the NV restaurant in Southampton on April 26.
The event is being staged by the Wessex Cancer Trust and senior representatives from the charity will be attending.
Hundreds of thousands of pounds have been raised for the appeal, which aims to fund a gamma camera at Southampton General Hospital, a respite chalet in Dorset and improvements to the chemotherapy unit at St Mary's Hospital on the Isle of Wight.
A BBC spokesman said: "To celebrate our achievements, we're inviting fundraisers and supporters to a special evening organised by the trust.
"With live music and dancing, a drinks reception and a three-course meal, there will be an opportunity to hear more about the money we have raised and the worthwhile projects supported."
Tickets cost £30 and can be reserved by calling the trust on 023 8067 2200.
