TIME is running out to vote for your favourite pub, club or bar in Southampton.
As part of the city-wide Best Bar None competition, which aims to find the best watering holes in the city, the Daily Echo is hosting an extra category decided by our readers.
Launched last month, the competition is inviting members of the public to vote for their favourite pubs, clubs and bars through the Daily Echo website.
So far almost 500 entries have been received for a number of venues across the city but there are just two days left for your vote to count as the deadline closes tomorrow.
The winner will then be unveiled as one of a number of awards being handed out at the Best Bar None awards ceremony on April 30.
The awards, organised by Southampton police and the city council, are in their second year and aim to raise standards in the licenced trade.
Sponsored by Bacardi Brown-Forman brands, licensees are invited to enter themselves in the best pub, club or pub category before a panel meets next week to decide the overall winners.
Teams of police and council officials have been carrying out checks and interviews with licensees who have entered the awards.
This year a record 100 licensees have taken part and all have been invited to the awards ceremony at St Mary's Stadium. The overall winner will receive an all-expenses paid trip to a distillery in Tennessee, USA.
