SOUTHAMPTON City Council has launched a new website to commemorate the 95th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic.
It features a gallery of images and sound clips including spoken accounts from those onboard as well as relatives and eyewitnesses.
Visitors will be able to hear first hand accounts of the tragedy in April 1912 which claimed more than 1,500 lives including those of 549 Southampton residents.
Titanic enthusiasts may recognise the names of former Southampton residents Sidney Daniels, Edith Haisman and Eva Hart.
The clips also feature 95-year-old Milvina Dean, pictured, one of two remaining survivors from the sinking.
The website also details Southampton's connections with Titanic and provides links to other informative websites.
