ACCOUNTANCY firm Tenon has appointed David Brookes as a director of its local business services team.
David joins from HWCA Ltd's London office where he was a business services director with a large portfolio of owner managed businesses from various industry sectors.
Services provided to clients included audit, management and year-end accounts, outsourcing and business advice.
He brings with him more than 25 years' experience and knowledge of the local area. He qualified as a chartered accountant in 1985 whilst working for local firm Weeks Green, before working in the Audit teams at Price Waterhouse in Southampton and BKL in Winchester. He then worked for two other firms in the South before transferring up to London.
David, whose hobbies include playing golf, and watching cricket and football, said: "Most of my career has been spent acting for owner managed businesses and I very much enjoy working with clients to help them achieve their business goals."
Ray Hallett, office managing director said, "We are pleased to have David on board. His appointment will further strengthen our team and enable us to provide expert advice and service to our clients."
