A CELEBRATION of the life of a Hampshire teenager who died after being stabbed through the heart will take place this weekend.
Hundreds of family and friends of Dele Little, pictured right, are expected to attend the event at an Eling church tomorrow.
They will all be dressed in red and white in a moving tribute to the 15-year-old, who was an avid Saints fan.
The day has been organised by friends of the popular youngster, many of whom have not had chance to say their final farewell to Dele yet.
His family and immediate relatives decided to hold an intimate funeral service in March, which took place in Salisbury.
The event will begin with a church service, led by Reverend Chris Rowberry during which many of Dele's friends will do a reading.
Some of the youngster's favourite pieces of music and songs will also be played, chosen by those closest to the former Testwood School pupil.
Then the group will make their way to the beach behind the St Mary the Virgin Church, Eling Hill, where hundreds of balloons, each with personal messages attached, will be released by the children.
Fatally stabbed Dele died after being fatally stabbed close to the West Totton community centre around 9pm on Saturday, February 3.
It is thought the incident happened after the teenager was involved in an argument.
The following day more than 100 grief-stricken youngsters gathered to lay flowers in his memory.
Dele's mum Angie, who recently told the Daily Echo of her heartache in losing Dele as she backed our campaign to stamp out knife crime, said she had been choked by the wonderful efforts of her son's friends.
"It really is touching and something which we have passed over to his friends to organise because they wanted to say goodbye in their own way.
"This is about celebrating Dele's life and giving everyone who couldn't say their goodbyes at his funeral a chance to remember him in their own way.
"Dele's friends have done a fantastic job of organising this event and they have asked that people wear red and white because of his love for Saints.
"The service will include many of his favourite music pieces because Dele loved a lot of different music and there will also be readings from his close friends."
Angie added that people have been asked not to bring flowers but are instead invited to make a donation in Dele's memory that will go to his youth club, The Garage, based at Eling Recreation Ground.
