SEVEN Hampshire firms have won a Queen's Award for Enterprise.
Businesswoman Anne Duncan was also honoured with an award for her work helping county firms.
Boss of Southampton marine propulsion innovators Yellowfin, Anne mentors up and coming businesses and sits on numerous voluntary committees as well as the Hampshire Economic Partnership and Institute of Directors.
She is one of just ten people in the UK to be honoured in these awards.
Southampton optical fibre manufacturers Fibercore won two Queen's Awards this year to go with two previous wins in 2001 and 2004.
At the same time the Southampton Science Park business, which employs 22 people and is owned by US giant Cisco Systems, scooped an award in the Sustainable Business category.
Hamble touch sensor technology experts the Quantum Research Group, which employs 42 people, scooped an innovation award.
