An arsonist who was released from prison early because of a blunder has been detained after 11 days and returned to his cell.
As revealed by the Daily Echo Christopher Pocock was let out of Camp Hill prison on the Isle of Wight on April 12, less than a month after being given a 320-day sentence of imprisonment for an offence of arson reckless as to whether life was endangered.
Hampshire Police said today that the 52-year-old from Newport, Isle of Wight, was arrested ''safe and well'' in Cowes and taken back to prison.
