ALL it needed was a re-spray to repair some flaking paintwork.
But when Lyn Ansell from the New Forest decided her car needed a new paint job, she picked up a brush herself and has turned her small reliable motor into a fundraising machine.
Decorated with flowers, animals, fairies and most recently a picture of the Flying Scotsman steam train, Lyn's car has become a familiar sight around Holbury.
Her car is awash with lions, tigers, butterflies, fish, birds and flowers that people sponsor her to paint in memory of their loved ones who have died from cancer, or as a message of hope for those that have recovered from the disease.
Since September the paintings on the bodywork of Lyn's L-Reg Peugeot 106 has become so popular she has raised more than £1,700 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
