REGIONAL radio station Wave 105 has appointed two new recruits - Charlotte Butt, who joins the news team, and new producer Tim Allen.
Tim Allen brings more than 20 years experience in the radio industry to the role at Wave 105, where he will be responsible for creating audio content for the station. Joining from Northamptonshire, he was keen to work for a large radio station on the south coast.
He said: "I'm bringing a creative approach to the role, ensuring that the audio production of the station goes from strength to strength. I want to ensure that the trend for more listeners tuning into the station for longer periods continues, by delivering outstanding and entertaining station imaging and production."
Charlotte Butt joins from a regional radio station based in Berkshire, and has a BA Hons in English and Creative Studies from Portsmouth University and a Broadcast Journalism post-graduate degree from Highbury College.
She will be reporting on the latest news and issues affecting the south region.
She said: "Wave 105 is an exciting station to work for, just yesterday I was interviewing the comedian Rik Mayall which was an amazing experience!
"I'm looking forward to the many challenges ahead in the delivery of essential news and information to the region."
