TWIN baby Golden Tamarins cling firmly to mum's back at Marwell Zoological Park, near Winchester.
The zoo is absolutely delighted at the birth of the twins. With an estimated population of only around 1,000 left in the wild, Golden Lion Tamarins are one of the most endangered monkey species in the world. Marwell has been taking part in a European breeding programme which hopes to release Golden Lion Tamarins into the wild.
The twins, who have not yet been named or sexed, can be seen in Marwell's walk-through Encounter Village attraction.
