DEVELOPERS have submitted plans to add three more homes to a new Fareham housing complex they have been granted permission to build.
George Wimpey Southern wants to put another two two-bedroom apartments and a three-bedroom house on the site of the former Sunlight Laundry, off Gudge Heath Lane, Fareham.
The company has come up with the plans, which include parking spaces for four cars, to utilise land formerly used as access to the oil depot adjacent to the site.
As reported in the Daily Echo, permission has also now been granted for separate plans to transform the Glenelg depot into housing, meaning that the access route has become redundant.
The new proposals involve resiting six of the 66 homes that have already been given the go-ahead for the laundry site.
In December last year, Wimpey successfully added another property to its plans for the 65-dwelling estate, which were originally given planning consent last August despite fears from neighbours of over-development.
Members of the public can submit their comments on the new application to Fareham Borough Council until May 1.
