THE passenger killed in a road crash near Winchester last month has finally been named.
Sergio De Oliveira-Casagrande, 33, died when the car he was a passenger in collided head-on with a vehicle on the A30 near Stockbridge on April 19.
Mr De Oliveira-Casagrande, a fork lift driver, of Malvern Close, Basingstoke, and a Brazilian national, was identified through fingerprint records, said Central Hampshire coroners officer Roger Matcham.
The inquest was due to be opened in Winchester this week.
The driver of the car, in which Mr De Oliveira-Casagrande was travelling, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
Paulo Robson Silva Ramos, 27, of Sheppard Road, Basingstoke, has been remanded in custody to appear at Winchester Crown Court on July 30.
