IT has been branded one of the worst highways blunders in the south, causing daily misery for thousands of motorists.
New traffic lights put up to smooth traffic flows by replacing a filter lane at the junction of the M27 and M271 have instead led to long queues at rush hour.
Some drivers are even using the Rownhams services as a rat run to get ahead.
Scores of people have backed calls from top motoring organisations to demand the Highways Agency remove the lights, which were put up in March.
And a petition on the Number 10 Downing Street website calling on the PM to intervene has now almost quadrupled in the past week to more than 360 names.
Yet the Highways Agency insisted there are no plans to remove the lights and consistently plays down the trouble they have caused.
Now Daily Echo readers have the chance to get answers from the man responsible.
Guy Beresford, the Highways Agency's performance manager for the M27, will be speaking to the Daily Echo about the lights and other issues with the road, which is due to be widened as part of a 15-month project starting in the spring.
Readers can send in questions for Mr Beresford by e-mailing newsdesk@dailyecho.co.uk.
