THOUSANDS of passengers have been left disappointed after a luxury cruise due to sail from Southampton was cancelled at the last minute.
More than 2,000 passengers were told that Sea Princess' 14-day Mediterranean cruise, due to depart at 4.45pm yesterday, had been cancelled.
A spokeswoman for Princess Cruises said the cancellation was due to a technical problem with one of the luxury ship's propulsion motors.
Sea Princess is due to resume normal service on May 26.
